Psychology Beyond Borders is an international non-profit organization with a focus on the psychological impacts of terror attacks, armed conflicts, and natural  disasters.  The PBB mission combines psychosocial field work and research to contribute to the body of knowledge about the helpful or harmful effects of post-event interventions. PBB aims to help facilitate the most effective strategies for prevention, preparedness and response to traumatic events with the
ultimate goals of alleviating psychological suffering and educating individuals and communities as well as informing public policy.

Tuesday's Children, a non-profit family service organization founded by family and friends of September 11th victims has made a long term commitment to safeguard the health, happiness and future of both individual and family.

 

VOICES of September 11th (VOICES) advocates and provides services for those affected by the events of September 11, 2001.

 

The web site was developed by the New York City Health Department. This site provides the latest information about scientific research and services for people who may have health problems related to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

 

Through faith-based partnerships as well as government and community-based agencies, NYDIS provides preparedness planning, facilitates service coordination, and equips faith communities and their leaders for readiness, response, and recovery.
